Full explanation — Multi-Table Tournament
An MTT (Multi-Table Tournament) is a tournament format where players are eliminated progressively across several simultaneous tables until a single player ends up with every chip in play. As players bust, tables are consolidated (a process called "table balancing") until the field reaches a final table. These are poker\u2019s "classic" showcase events — the WSOP Main Event, GG Millions, and similar large-field competitions all follow this format.
