Full explanation — Straight
A straight is five cards in consecutive rank order, for example 6-7-8-9-10, regardless of suit. The ace is flexible and can act as either the highest card (10-J-Q-K-A) or the lowest card in a five-high straight (A-2-3-4-5), commonly called "the wheel." A straight ranks below a flush and a full house but above three of a kind, and it's a common target hand when drawing on the flop with connected or gapped cards.
